𝐏𝐄𝐑𝐒𝐎𝐍𝐀𝐋𝐈𝐓𝐘Haru used to be a cheerful boy, just like any other eight-year-old. But after he regained most of his memories as Dai Ryusaki, he became quieter and more thoughtful. Everything he did was careful and well-planned. He often observed others rather than jumping into things, though he remained as ambitious as Dai Ryusaki once was. Even so, he still shares some of his favourite things or hobbies with his brother, Kanzaki Mafuyu.Dai Ryusaki had once known what it felt like to admire someone. He wasn’t blind to love. But as the years passed, he learned that his path in life had no room for it. That belief lingered, even after being reborn as Haru. It shaped him into someone calm, distant, and quietly driven—someone who had no time or space for romance.

𝐒𝐓𝐎𝐑𝐘𝐋𝐈𝐍𝐄History has noted Dai Ryusaki as a dark wizard, and the International Confederation of Wizards’ reason was that he invented the Crown of Mneme, an incredibly powerful and dangerous magical item, alongside rumours that he created a mind-enhancing potion that was highly powerful. Little did people know that his first intention in creating the Crown of Mneme was to be a medical device to relieve people of traumatic memories, though he did express his fear that the device could destroy the entire wizarding world, despite it being made to help—and detailed his lifetime work in written documents, including his fear of the Crown of Mneme’s effect. The International Confederation of Wizards then sent Hit Wizards to capture him and confiscated many of his personal belongings—including nine rings (two of them made of solid jade) and a magical amulet he wore all the time. The mind-enhancing potion was declared too dangerous and was destroyed. The Crown was locked away, never to be used again. And Dai Ryusaki? He was sentenced to death. On one rainy day on 22 June 1691 in England, Dai Ryusaki was executed. Ryusaki had only wanted to help, but his ideas got misunderstood by most of the wizarding world. Thus, to cover up the International Confederation of Wizards’ mistake, they announced to the wizarding world that they had executed one dark wizard—that is, Dai Ryusaki. What no one knew was that before his capture, Ryusaki had hidden a secret. He had written down the ingredients for his mind-enhancing potion on a Dark Scroll and kept it hidden where no one would ever think to look.Justice will always find those who are worthy enough—and Dai Ryusaki is one of those people.More than 300 years later, in 2002, a child named Haru was born into the Kanzaki family. He seemed ordinary—curious, playful, and full of boundless energy—until he turned eight years old. Dreams unlike any he had ever known flooded his mind. Memories of spells, of inventions, of a life lived centuries ago. That was when he started remembering a different life, one that didn’t belong to a boy in modern Japan. The echoes of Dai Ryusaki awakened within him.
ㅤㅤHe remembered being Dai Ryusaki.
However, not all of his past memories came back. Some with dreams, some just popped into his mind, and some must get triggered first. He remembered the Crown, the potion, and the betrayal—though his memory did not quite catch the main culprit. And most of all, he remembered the scroll—the one he had hidden before his capture, containing the forbidden recipe for his mind-enhancing potion. If it still existed, it could hold the key not only to unlocking his lost knowledge but also to understanding why he had returned. While learning about his past self, Haru realized that the world had changed. Centuries had passed since his death, and history had painted him as a dark wizard, a menace rather than a visionary. Haru knew that if he openly sought his past, he would be met with suspicion and hostility. Moreover, the Japanese wizarding community is now facing threats from Kobayashi, an ambitious dark wizard, and his dark entities that want to rule over the Japanese wizarding community. Thus, Haru kept his secret hidden, for he did not want to get involved and repeat the same history: being mistaken as a dark wizard.Haru knew exactly what he had to do. He decided to come back to Mahoutokoro to research the wizarding world’s archives, searching for clues about his lost work in order to find the hidden scroll, uncover the full truth of his past, and most importantly—learn why he had been given a second chance at life. The reincarnation of Dai Ryusaki, also known as Kanzaki Haru, had begun. And this time, he would not be silenced.----------Dai Ryusaki’s journey to Mahoutokoro had now almost come to an end. He had found his two jade rings. He had remembered the main culprit of his capture: both the International Confederation of Wizards and the British Ministry of Magic. He had found his Dark Scroll. And more importantly, he had found the reason for his reincarnation. All that was to find was the Crown of Mneme and his amulet. It was never an easy journey. It sure was a long journey. And those who were responsible for his reincarnation tried to remind him of who he was before. His true self: Dai Ryusaki.Haru’s appearance changed to how Ryusaki’s was. It was not a reward—rather a reminder. A sign that, after everything, Ryusaki can not run from his own fate. He lived his second life not to run away, but to accept what’s been written for him. And Ryusaki believed that with the new life he had at Mahoutokoro, he could overcome the fate written for him way better than he was before. This time, Dai Ryusaki got humbled, and he lived for himself. Not for others. Not for Kanzaki Haru.It was for himself, Dai Ryusaki, all along. Never anyone. Not even his new self.
